2012 Summer CSA Membership Information
Pickups will be on Wednesdays from 9 to 5:30. The pickups will run for 18 weeks, the first on June 13th and the last on October 10th. Cost will be the same as last year: $600 for the share ($550 for a 5 hour labor commitment). Folks wishing to split a share should pair up with one another. If you would like to split a share but are having difficulty finding a partner, please let us know and we can help facilitate connecting you. Folks wishing to commit the five hours can work with the CSA coordinator, Becca, to set this up. There will be a worker log in the main greenhouse where you can sign in your hours. Unfinished work hours will be billed at season’s end. We will have the usual sharing table where members can leave any items they don’t want and take any items they do. Note: You do not have to trade anything. If something is on the table that you like, feel free to take it.
We expect that this summer’s CSA offerings will include: arugula, basil, beans, beets, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, chard, cilantro, cucumbers, dill, eggplant, kale, leeks, melons, onions, parsley, peas, peppers, pumpkins, radishes, summer squash, winter squash, thyme, Eastham turnips, mesclun, lettuce, mustard greens, strawberries, asparagus, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and eggs (when available). The U-pick flowers and herbs will continue.
