On December 22, 2008, Tim Friary of Cape Cod Organic Farm submitted a proposal in response to an RFP issued by Barnstable County for the right to lease and utilize the County Farm. The County Farm, Barnstable’s bucolic landmark one mile east of the Village on Route 6A, has been sitting for several years not reaching its highest potential.
